Job summary

Dassel-Cokato Public Schools seeks a Cook Manager at the High School to oversee daily meal production, setup, serving, and cleanup for students and staff. The role requires following standardized recipes, maintaining records, and ensuring food safety and sanitation per HACCP and USDA regulations, with responsibilities including production planning and staff coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• MSFSA/NSFSA Level 2 Certification required.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and read operating manuals.
• Knowledge of USDA Child Nutrition Program regulations.
• Strong time management and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Arrange set-up and clean-up for all food items and serving areas.
• Maintain cafeteria records and reports as required for local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Completion of Daily Food Production Records.
• Attend meetings and in-service training.
• Ensure proper storage and safe temperatures per HACCP plan.
• Performs duties related to the kitchen of responsibility.
• Assist in the preparation and service of meals.
