Osseo Area Schools is seeking a dedicated food service professional to assist the Nutrition Manager in planning meals that meet USDA requirements and to supervise staff in a school kitchen. You will help plan breakfast and lunch programs, manage orders, inventory, and produce records while ensuring safety and quality.

The role emphasizes staff training, teamwork, and adherence to health and sanitation standards in a fast-paced school environment.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Child Nutrition Certificate (Level I or above).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, word processing, email and online ordering.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage a kitchen team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Nutrition Manager in planning menus that meet USDA requirements.
• Plan and organize breakfast and lunch programs and related districts initiatives.
• Order food and supplies from multiple vendors and manage inventory.
• Schedule staff efficiently and maintain budget targets.
• Train staff on standardized recipes and HACCP sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain temperature logs and production records.
• Foster a positive, respectful work environment.
