Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old at time of hire.
• Junior or senior enrolled in high school during the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Tool usage: Use automotive tools, both powered and manual, safely.
• Perform basic repairs on engines, hydraulic, electrical, heating, cooling, and exhaust systems.
• Complete routine servicing and clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow instructions from the County Equipment Manager and Mechanic Supervisor.
• Operate basic scan tools and apply basic computer skills during tasks.
