Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a Classroom Teacher to deliver engaging instruction in math and related subjects. The role emphasizes equitable use of resources, curriculum alignment, and ongoing assessment within district guidelines.

Responsibilities include student progress, communication with guardians, and collaboration with colleagues. The position is a temporary long-term substitute with return rights, starting around late November 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MN teaching license in Math, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 license.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and support in curriculum areas with appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies.
• Implement the goals and objectives of the district, school and/or program; maintain contact with guardians/caregivers and involve them in student development.
• Design, deliver and assess curriculum according to district guidelines; provide in-person, synchronous and asynchronous learning when applicable; work collaboratively with others.
• Participate in district and building leadership activities.
