Job summary

Maple Grove Senior High in Osseo Area Schools is seeking a Math Teacher (Long-Term Substitute) to deliver engaging instruction and support for 5-12 Mathematics standards, starting Oct 8, 2026.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree and MN teaching license; temporary position 1.0 FTE through Nov 18, 2026; responsibilities include designing and assessing curriculum, communicating with guardians, and participating in leadership activities. Equal opportunity employer.

Provide instruction and support in the curriculum areas for which employed; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; implement the goals and objectives of the district, school and/or program for which employed; maintain contact and communication with guardians/caregivers of scholars, working with them in the development of their scholar; design, deliver, and assess curriculum according to district guidelines; provide in-person, synchronous and asynchronous learning when applicable and work collaboratively with others. Willing to participate in district and building leadership activities.

Classroom Teacher

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • MN teaching license in appropriate field ( 5-12 Mathematics ), OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.*
    • If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.*
