Job summary

Osseo Area Schools in Minnesota is seeking a Classroom Teacher to inspire and prepare scholars within the district's curriculum framework. The role requires designing, delivering, and assessing instruction across specified subjects, using equitable resources and integrating technology, with in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning as applicable.

The position is a 1.0 FTE long-term substitute for the 2026-2027 school year, starting December 11, 2026, with opportunities for leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• MN teaching license in appropriate field (insert required license), OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
• If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and prepare scholars with confidence and competence within the district curriculum.
• Provide instruction and support in assigned curriculum areas; design, deliver, and assess curriculum according to district guidelines.
• Utilize instructional resources and technologies; deliver in-person, synchronous and asynchronous learning when applicable; engage with guardians/caregivers to support scholar development.
• Collaborate with others and participate in district and building leadership activities.
