Their unwavering commitment to students, on the good days and the hard days. That’s why we support our teachers in making the most of their talents. It starts with respect—respect for their innate abilities, their professional growth, and the lives they lead beyond our classrooms.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE TEACHING AT KIPP

You’ll Teach in a Community That Lives Its Values

At KIPP Tulsa, our teachers are part of a team that is deeply committed to our shared values. We don’t just work in classrooms—we work in schools and communities. We collaborate, share responsibility, and celebrate successes together. Like a family, we support one another, act with empathy, and build strong, trusting relationships with our students, families, and colleagues.

You’ll Be the Change

As a teacher, you’ll join a national network of over 278 KIPP schools, making an impact that extends far beyond the classroom. Your teaching will fuel hope, drive equity, and inspire optimism as we work toward a more just and equitable world for our students and their families. Every lesson, every interaction, and every moment of encouragement will help transform lives and shape the future—starting right here in Tulsa.

You’ll Be Empowered and Valued

We believe in setting our teachers up for success. That’s why we provide competitive compensation, innovative tools, and meaningful professional development opportunities. You’ll have the resources, autonomy, and support needed to create a dynamic, engaging, and joyful learning environment for your students.

You’ll Never Stop Growing

At KIPP, we believe great teachers never stop learning. You’ll receive individualized coaching, participate in professional learning communities, and have access to ongoing training and development. Whether you’re a seasoned educator or just starting your journey, we invest in your growth—so you can invest in the success of your students.

You’ll Create Joyful Moments

As a KIPP teacher, you’ll help build a culture of joy, celebration, and connection. Whether it’s seeing a student’s face light up with understanding, celebrating milestones together, or fostering a love of learning, you’ll create moments that matter—moments that make a lasting impact on your students, their families, and your own career.
