The Claremont School District is seeking a Math Teacher to teach at Stevens High School, reporting to the Building Principal. This full-time, exempt position runs up to 185 days per year.

The teacher maintains up-to-date knowledge of State Mathematics Standards and frameworks, effectively planning instruction around critical conceptual topics such as algebraic reasoning, geometric relationships, data analysis, and proportional logic. They design relevant formative and summative assessments that evaluate both procedural fluency and essential mathematical practices (e.g., problem-solving, logical reasoning, and mathematical modeling), consistently monitoring student understanding to adjust pacing and address misconceptions.
