Job summary

Broward Schools is seeking a TEACHER-MATH COACH HIGH (SPECIAL GRANT/FUND) to support mathematics teachers at Blanche Ely High in Pompano Beach, FL. The coach will mentor teachers, foster a positive classroom culture, and lead data-driven instructional improvement.

The role requires a Florida teaching certificate, five years of teaching or coaching experience, and completion of the district’s Instructional Coach Development within two years. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or mathematics and a valid Florida Teacher’s Certificate.
• Minimum five (5) years of related teaching experience in the last eight (8) years.
• Complete Broward County Public Schools’ Instructional Coach Development and Credentialing Program within two years of assignment.
• Progressively more responsible educational experience with at least two years in teacher leadership roles.

• Provide personalized coaching based on identified teacher needs and differentiated supports.
• Support teachers to develop skills in classroom culture, instructional strategies, data analysis, and differentiation.
• Collaborate with teachers, engage in peer coaching, and foster professional learning communities.
