Qualifications

• Experience teaching marching technique to wind/brass players.
• Proven background in wind and brass pedagogy, with rehearsal planning and execution.
• Experience teaching high school-aged students.
• Experience teaching both small and large groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching all aspects of marching basics to wood wind and brass members.
• Direct sectionals for woodwinds and/or brass members.
• Attend and assist director at rehearsals.
• Attend and assist at performances as scheduled with the director.
• Stay advised as to the director's goals and timelines for materials to be produced/learned by students.
• Foster student creativity, discipline, and teamwork in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment.
