Throughout the production, the coach will work alongside the credentialed teacher at District High School, supporting students of varying skill levels. This role includes rehearsal preparation, instruction, and performance support at one or more school sites, contributing to a high-quality production for a diverse student body.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience with teaching Marching technique
• Experience in Wind and/or Brass pedagogy, rehearsal planning and implementation
• Experience teaching high school-aged students
• Experience teaching small and large group instruction.

Key Tasks/Duties

• Assist teaching all aspects of Marching basics to all wood wind and brass members
• Assist in sectionals for woodwinds and/or brass members
• Attend and assist at rehearsals and performances as scheduled with the director
• Foster student creativity, discipline, and teamwork in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment Other Duties/Responsibilities: Seasonal tied to a specific season or production Marching Band=One season/production Winter Percussion=One season/production Key Tasks/Duties:
