Job summary

The International School of San Francisco, a bilingual, multicultural school in San Francisco, seeks a High School Learning Support Assistant to manage testing schedules for students with accommodations and support the High School team in maintaining clear expectations for late work and missed assessments. You will also help organize study halls, Saturday School, and documentation for standardized testing.

Reporting to the Director of Student Support, you will support executive function

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail; able to create and maintain organizational systems for multiple constituencies.
• Strong computer skills.
• Able to interact with adolescents in a supportive and positive manner while upholding clear expectations.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with classroom teachers, learning specialists, and students to organize, schedule, and supervise testing for students with specific accommodations.
• Stay apprised of accommodations for each student and support communication with teachers.
• Collaborate with the Dean of Students, teachers, and advisors to support accountability for late work and missed assessments.
• Use Blackbaud and Toddle to access and cross-check reports on missing work.
• Provide instructions for Saturday School and study hall regarding assessments and accommodations.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance in the Student Success Center, study hall, and Saturday School.
• Assist in completing required documentation for accommodations on standardized testing.
• Maintain devices in the Student Success Center and coordinate with IT for repairs.
• Ensure supervision in the HS Learning Commons after school hours.
