Job summary

The Accelerated Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal at Wallis Annenberg High School in Los Angeles to lead instructional practice, coach teachers, and supervise staff. You will drive data-informed decisions, support supervision and evaluations, and foster a collaborative, equity-focused school culture for students and families.

Qualifications

• Credentials required or in progress.
• Experience leading instructional improvement and PD is preferred.
• Spanish bilingual abilities are preferred.
• Strong instructional leadership and data-driven practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional leadership and coaching to teachers and departments.
• Supervise, evaluate, and support staff with observations and feedback.
• Align curriculum and assessments with state standards to raise student outcomes.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team on curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Design and evaluate professional development for faculty.
• Monitor data to inform school programs and scheduling.
