Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide instruction to students identified as disabled under IDEA in accordance with the Individual Education Plan.
• Interface with other service providers to coordinate educational efforts.
• Maintain accurate records and report data as requested including attendance records and progress reports.
• Attend ARD/IEP meetings and prepare drafts of goals and objectives.
• Provide instruction and support per IEP, coordinate with Multidisciplinary Team.
• Follow district guidelines and administer IEP assessments as required.
• Create a learning environment that supports safety and student engagement.
• Communicate with parents and staff to promote student success.
