Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from accredited university

Experience with IDEA/IEP and ARD/IEP processes preferred

Responsibilities

Plan and provide instruction to students with disabilities under IDEA in accordance with the IEP
Interface with related service providers (SLP, OT, PT, AT) to coordinate educational efforts
Maintain accurate records and report data (attendance, progress)
Attend ARD/IEP meetings and prepare goals and objectives
Create a learner-centered classroom environment
Deliver curriculum and adapt instruction to meet IEP goals
Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers and parents
Monitor student progress and communicate with families and staff
