Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• Familiarity with IDEA, IEP, ARD processes and TEA policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with Speech, OT, PT and other specialists as part of the MDT.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports; document ARD/IEP outcomes.
• Communicate with parents and school staff; participate in meetings and reviews.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment and manage behavior in accordance with district policy.
