Job summary

Pasadena Independent School District is seeking a dedicated Middle School Special Education Teacher to provide instruction in accordance with each student’s IEP under IDEA. You will participate in the ARD/IEP process as the representative from special education and work within a Multidisciplinary Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for subject and level assigned
• Ability to implement IEP goals and ARD/IEP processes

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in accordance with the IEP to students identified under IDEA
• Participate in the ARD/IEP process as the representative or committee member from special education instruction
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team and parents to support student progress
• Maintain progress records and prepare reports as required
