• Leverage educational technology while ensuring digital citizenship and policy compliance.
• Manage curriculum, IEP contributions, documentation, homeroom responsibilities, and other duties.

BVA is currently seeking exceptional and passionate online instructors certified to teach 9-12 Health and Physical Education. This position will work within the Brandywine Virtual Academy division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit in Downingtown, PA and serve students from across Pennsylvania in a dynamic online classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor level degree in education required
• Experience teaching students in an online environment preferred.
• PDE Health and Physical Education teaching certification for grades K-12 required; Special Education Certification preferred
• Excellent technology proficiency required. Including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, Virtual Meeting Platforms, Learning Management Systems and Student Information Systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills in working with students, families and partner schools and districts.
• Current within one year FBI, PA State and Child Abuse Clearance

• $62,155 to $89,730 - Instructional I Certification
• $64,834 to $93,324 - Instructional II Certification
• $69,353 to $101,911 - Master's Degree
• $72,740 to $105,924 Masters + 15
• $74,415 to $107,845 - Masters + 30

Location

• This is an in-office position, located at our Educational Service Center in Downingtown, PA.
