Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education is required.
• PDE 7-12 Chemistry/Biology teaching certification is required; Special Education Certification preferred.
• Excellent technology proficiency with MS Office, LMS, SIS, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience teaching online is preferred.
• Clearances up-to-date including FBI, PA State, and Child Abuse.

• Leverage educational technology while ensuring digital citizenship and policy compliance.
• Manage curriculum, IEP contributions, documentation, homeroom responsibilities, and other duties.

This position will work within the Brandywine Virtual Academy division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit in Downingtown, PA and serve students from across Pennsylvania in a dynamic online classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor level degree in education required
• Experience teaching students in an online environment preferred.
• PDE 7-12 Chemistry and/or Biology teaching certification required; Special Education Certification preferred
• Excellent technology proficiency required. Including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, Virtual Meeting Platforms, Learning Management Systems and Student Information Systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills in working with students, families and partner schools and districts.
• Current within one year FBI, PA State and Child Abuse Clearance

• $62,155 to $89,730 - Instructional I Certification
• $64,834 to $93,324 - Instructional II Certification
• $69,353 to $101,911 - Master's Degree
• $72,740 to $105,924 Masters + 15
• $74,415 to $107,845 - Masters + 30

• This is an in-office position, located at our Educational Service Center in Downingtown, PA.
