BVA is currently seeking exceptional and passionate online instructors certified to teach 9-12 Social Studies . This position will work within the Brandywine Virtual Academy division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit in Downingtown, PA and serve students from across Pennsylvania in a dynamic online classroom.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelor level degree in education required

Experience teaching students in an online environment preferred.

PDE 7-12 Social Studies teaching certification for grades 7-12 required; Special Education Certification preferred

Excellent technology proficiency required. Including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, Virtual Meeting Platforms, Learning Management Systems and Student Information Systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong skills in working with students, families and partner schools and districts.

Current within one year FBI, PA State and Child Abuse Clearance

• $62,155 to $89,730 - InstructionalI Certification
• $64,834 to $93,324 - InstructionalII Certification

• $74,415 to$107,845- Masters + 30

• This is an in-office position, located at our Educational Service Center in Downingtown, PA.
