Job summary

Brockton Public Schools in Brockton, MA is seeking a Head Gymnastics Coach for the Winter 2026-2027 season. The head coach will recruit within the school and district, train and coach team members, and collaborate with gymnastics staff while complying with MIAA rules and Brockton Public Schools policies.

Responsibilities include managing equipment and uniforms, developing practice schedules, evaluating athletes, guiding college recruitment, monitoring academics, and attending clinics to improve

Qualifications

Three years of high school gymnastics coaching experience.
Effective coaching techniques and skills.
Knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies and techniques of the sport.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with administrators, opponents, officials, staff, parents and students.
Ability to use varied instructional methods and media to develop student athletes.

Responsibilities

Assist in distributing and collecting uniforms at start and end of season.
Ensure equipment and uniforms are cleaned and maintained; provide annual inventory.
Hold informational meetings for middle school players and parents.
Develop regular practice schedules for individual and team development.
Monitor academic progress of all team members.
