Job summary

Haverhill High School in Haverhill, MA is seeking a Gymnastics Head Coach to lead the program, uphold safety and sportsmanship, and educate student-athletes on competition rules and proper conduct. You will coordinate training, manage equipment, and travel with teams to events, reporting to the Athletic Director.

The role requires prior gymnastics coaching experience, a valid driver’s license, and First Aid/CPR certification, with preferred MIAA coaching credentials.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to advocate the importance of education and school community.
• Successful previous experience as a gymnast or coach.
• Gymnastics coaching experience - preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License - required.
• First Aid/CPR - required.
• MIAA Coaches Certification - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote by example, loyalty and leadership within the program.
• Build a strong culture aligned with school values for the gymnastics program.
• Implement codes of conduct for coaches, players and parents.
• Prepare and deliver training programs and practice sessions.
• Maintain equipment and uniforms in coordination with the Athletic Director.
