Job summary

ACUSD #11 is seeking an Assistant Girls Dance Coach to perform on- and off-season duties for the athletic program. The role includes planning, organizing and coaching summer practices, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with IHSA guidelines and safety procedures.

The incumbent will coordinate uniform handling, recruitment support, and logistics for tryouts and competitions, while maintaining records and communicating with parents and district leadership.

Qualifications

• Must possess a teaching certificate or be ASEP certified.
• Must pass ACUSD #11 background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide on- and off-season duties for the athletic program.
• Preseason: size and distribute uniforms and equipment.
• Plan, organize and coach summer practices.
• Manage schedules and assist with fundraisers to defray costs.
• Post information and hold informational meetings for tryouts.
• Attend home and away games and post-season activities.
• Maintain records, eligibility rosters and transfer documentation.
