Job summary

ReNEW Schools seeks coaches for fall athletic positions for the 2026-2027 school year, located at Classical Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut. Positions available include Varsity Girls’ Volleyball, Boys’ Soccer, and Co-Ed Cross Country.

The successful candidates will lead student-athletes in skill development, promote discipline and sportsmanship, and ensure safety during practices and events. Important certifications and a Bachelor’s degree in education are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish written rules and regulations.
• Experience in coaching with at least three years of success.
• Familiarity with CIAC and NFHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan athletic programs.
• Provide skill development for student-athletes.
• Oversee safety conditions during events.
