Salary Range: $48,000 to $50,000

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in a designated subject area.
• Promote a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom to ensure maximum student motivation.
• Maintain a high degree of discipline in the classroom to ensure maximum learning.
• Establish a high degree of student/instructor rapport.
• Utilize all possible curriculum resources available.
• Maintain student personnel folders.
• Record and forward daily attendance to the Student Records area.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach in the state of Virginia.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
