Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Eligibility for an approved NM teaching license with TESOL endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver high-quality ELD instruction for grades 9–12.
• Differentiate instruction based on students' language proficiency levels.
• Align instruction with WIDA standards and NM content standards.
• Administer and monitor language proficiency assessments and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and district personnel.
• Create an inclusive classroom that honors multilingualism and cultural diversity.
