Job summary

Five Keys is seeking a High School Counselor to support Alameda Academic Programs across NorCal. The role provides a comprehensive academic and counseling program addressing students' educational, social, emotional, and career needs in collaboration with site teachers and principals.

You will guide individuals and groups through educational and career planning, maintain equity, and foster a climate of multicultural understanding while supporting a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of student assessment tools and interpretation of results.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with databases.
• Knowledge of educational software and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Advises and counsels students regarding academic, educational, and career planning.
• Ensure all prospective students have been assessed prior to placement to appropriate credentialed teacher.
• Collaborate with students and teachers to complete Master ISP Agreement.
• Assist online students with account activation.
• Provide individual student planning and responsive services to support students and families.
