Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment inventories, promoting athlete development, establishing safety guidelines, fostering parent collaboration, and reporting violations to administrators;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• NFHS Certification (First Aid, Health and Safety, Fundamentals of Coaching) required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work with students, parents, teachers and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Establish a culture with a high standard of conduct in alignment with Leadership Public Schools.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and uniforms.
• Understand and meet the needs of athletes to help them reach their potential.
• Establish safety guidelines, team goals, and objectives.
• Engage parents and guardians in student performance and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Report any rule violations to administrators.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
