Job summary

Olympia School District is seeking an Assistant Coach at the High School level to assist in education, leadership, supervision and organization of the assigned sport/activity.

The role requires prior coaching experience, First Aid/CPR and concussion training, with completion of required trainings within the first two weeks of the season. Applicants may need WIAA/OSD training updates and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching cheer at the high school level or above.
• First Aid/CPR/Concussion training required prior to first day of practice.
• WIAA/OSD training to be completed within first 2 weeks of season.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and organization for assigned sport/activity as directed by the Head Coach and building Athletic Director.
• Supervises athletes, managers and support personnel before/during/after practices and events.
• Maintains knowledge of rules and regulations related to the sport/activity and student participation.
