Job summary

Qualifications

• Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college level.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in such training.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining high academic standards for student athletes.
• Assist athletic director/principal in hiring and retaining assistant coaches.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Coordinate with athletic director to ensure insurance coverage for athletes.
• Collaborate with other head coaches to run a balanced athletic program.
• Foster values of athletics, sportsmanship, and school pride.
