Job summary

Rock Ridge High School in Ashburn, Virginia seeks a Boys Soccer Head Coach for the Spring season (Feb–May). Lead varsity training, set game plans, and partner with the athletic director and principal to support student-athletes academically and athletically.

The coach will direct, supervise and evaluate the staff, organize schedules, ensure proper insurance coverage, manage equipment, and maintain records. Presence at all varsity contests is required, with involvement in JV/Fr activities as

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school or college level.CPR and First Aid training completed or in progress.Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.Prefer Virginia Teaching License candidate or full-time classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining high academic standards for student athletes.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate all assistant coaches.
• Direct training, conditioning, and performance of the varsity team.
• Coordinate schedules and equipment with the athletic director and principal.
• Ensure proper insurance coverage for all athletes.
• Be present at all varsity contests and oversee JV/fw teams when possible.
• Encourage sportsmanship, pride in school, and teamwork among participants.
