Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools is hiring a Head Coach for Football at Briar Woods High School, running from August to November. The role requires maintaining high academic standards, supervising assistant coaches, and directing training for the varsity team. Preferred candidates will have coaching experience, CPR certification, and experience in Loudoun County. Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college levels.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training, or currently enrolled in training.
• Experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County is preferred.
• Virginia Teaching License or full-time classified employee for Loudoun County is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining high academic standards for all student athletes.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Direct training, conditioning, and performance of the varsity athletic team.
• Present during varsity contests and supervise athletes at meets.
• Advise on preparation of schedules and selection of officials.

Education

Coaching experience or participation in the sport

Completion of CPR and First Aid training

Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee

Prefer a Virginia Teaching License
