Job summary

Waco Family Medicine in Waco, TX is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Clinician to provide compassionate, evidence-based counseling to high school students in partnership with Waco Independent School District. The role requires a Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work and an active Texas license (LPC/LPC-Associate/LCSW).

You will deliver individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and coordinate with medical providers, documenting in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required.
• Active Texas license as LPC, LPC-Associate (supervised), or LCSW required.
• Experience with crisis intervention, short-term therapy, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and deliver goal-oriented interventions for anxiety, depression, trauma and other disorders.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapy as needed.
• Provide clinical crisis intervention and safety planning; coordinate access to medical pharmacotherapy as indicated.
