Job summary

Waco Family Medicine is seeking a School-Linked Behavioral Health Clinician to provide evidence-based counseling to middle school students. This position involves working primarily at an elementary school campus in partnership with the Waco Independent School District, with some duties at Waco Family Medicine sites.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree and a Texas LPC or LCSW license, demonstrating strong skills in crisis intervention. Compensation includes a competitive salary, health benefits, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with a Texas LPC or LCSW license before hire.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and short-term therapy particularly with children.
• Experience in school or community settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for students.
• Diagnose and deliver goal-oriented interventions for various behavioral health conditions.
• Coordinate with Waco Family Medicine providers for referrals.
