Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Professional license or industry certification in auto repair.
• Recent experience within the preceding ten-year period.

Responsibilities

• Instruct high school students enrolled in the Advanced Auto Shop Program.
• Develops positive relationships with administration, colleagues, parents, and students.
• Teaches district approved curriculum.
• Plans a program of study meeting the needs of the students.
• Maintains attendance, records, and progress reports.
• Assists CTE Director with CIP Self-Review documentation.
• Plans budget and needs of the program with the CTE Director.
• Maintains professional behavior per district policies.
• Supervises students and coordinates parapros/volunteers in classroom and field trips.
