Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain one prior to coaching.
• Teacher Certification is preferred.
• Completion of CHSAA coaching registration.
• Experience coaching or working with urban youth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental and advanced athletic skills to athletes to prepare them for competition.
• Be knowledgeable about sports equipment, physical fitness, and safety.
• Become an expert on rules, strategies, and techniques required for the sport.
• Support the coordination and recruitment of student participants.
