Qualifications

• Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate.
• An employed, regular professional educator at the school is preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a proposed budget for all athletic events, including equipment needs.
• Provide the principal/assistant principal with a copy of the proposed athletic budget.
• Submit requisitions for athletic equipment, film, and facility repairs.
• Schedule all athletic events and hire officials by contract.
• Arrange transportation for all athletic events.
• Provide eligibility forms for each sport.
• Ensure athletes have insurance forms and physicals on file.
• Prepare expense requisition forms before events.
• Arrange for athletic banquets or awards.
• Maintain inventory and storage of equipment and uniforms.
• Coordinate coaches' evaluations and meetings.
• Oversee concessions and half-time activities for events.
• Ensure proper records and forms are completed on time.
