Job summary

American Leadership Academy in Arizona seeks an Athletic Director for the 2026-2027 academic year at West Foothills High School. The role partners with the District Athletic Director and Campus Director to oversee all athletic programs and ensure alignment with school policies.

You will interview coaches, coach teachers, evaluate staff, schedule events, procure equipment, and handle stakeholder inquiries. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in a 7-12 environment plus Arizona Fingerprint Clearance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
At least three years of experience in a 7-12 environment.
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

Oversee all athletic programs at the campus and collaborate with District Athletic Director and Campus Director.
Ensure athletic programs align with ALA policies, regulations, and guidelines.
Assist with interviewing coaches and athletic staff.
Collaborate with teachers to improve teaching practices through coaching and PD.
Evaluate teachers and coaches through formal and informal evaluations.
Participate in PLCs to review student data and needs.
Address concerns from stakeholders including parents, athletes, and staff.
Develop athletic schedules for games, practices, camps, and activities.
Order and purchase athletic equipment and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
