Job summary

ReNEW Schools is hiring a High School Assistant Director for its new campus in Buckeye, AZ, opening in Fall 2027. The Assistant Director will supervise in the absence of the Director, oversee curriculum implementation, monitor assessment processes, and support staff development. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and a valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Preferred candidates have a Master's degree and 5+ years of teaching experience. Qualifications

• Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• 5+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• Leadership or school administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume supervision on behalf of the Director as needed.
• Collaborate with the Director for curriculum implementation.
• Monitor lesson plan development and grading practices.
• Oversee documentation of PLC meeting agendas and logs.
• Observe and evaluate teacher/staff performance.
