The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 2:30, reporting to the Building Principal. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or higher and a valid Michigan teaching certificate with an Art endorsement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Michigan teaching certificate with endorsement to teach Art (LX) K-5 or Visual Arts Education (LQ) K-5 or Full Year Basic Permit in Art.

Responsibilities

• Teach district-approved curriculum and state standards for art.
• Plan and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and maintain records.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with building staff and participate in professional development.
• Adhere to district and school policies and procedures.
