Job summary

IDEA Kyle College Prep is seeking an 11th Grade Algebra II Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year with an immediate opening in Kyle, TX. The role focuses on rigorous college-prep instruction and data-driven planning in a Greater Austin setting.

The teacher will implement state standards, deliver engaging lessons, and monitor student progress, including after-school duties as needed. Strong planning and collaboration with families are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• K-12 classroom experience preferred.
• State teaching certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Deliver content and grade-level instruction with engaging lessons.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Communicate student progress to families weekly.
• Maintain a consistent behavior management system aligned to campus initiatives.
• Spend 40+ hours on campus weekly.
