Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the High-Risk Labor and Delivery Unit on rotating shifts. This 36-hour-per-week role offers cross-trained duties in scrub, circulate, recover, and labor/deliver, within a teaching hospital environment with collaborative team support.

Preferred applicants have Labor & Delivery experience. Sentara provides market-competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for qualified

Qualifications

RN license required (Virginia or compact state)
BLS within 90 days of hire
NRP within 6 months of hire
PALS within 6 months of hire
L&D experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide high-acuity labor and delivery nursing care
Scrub, circulate, recover, and labor/deliver as cross-trained nurse
Collaborate with physicians, residents, and staff to ensure patient-centered care
