Job summary

New Line Structures in New York City is seeking an Estimator to join their Estimating and Preconstruction Services division. This role involves delivering accurate quantity takeoffs and budget estimates for high-rise buildings during the preconstruction and construction phases.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and several years of estimating experience. Proficiency in relevant software like Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD is essential, with familiarity in high-rise building construction as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and several years of estimating experience with a construction manager or general contractor.
• Ability to estimate all major construction trades (union and/or non‑union).
• Familiarity with NYC trade contractors’ productivity and crew sizes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate quantity takeoffs and budgetary cost estimates for RFPs on high-rise buildings.
• Read and understand all RFP documents including the scope of work, drawings, and specifications.
• Break down and group building components and systems for area takeoffs and pricing.
