Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking an Order Picker Operator for its Plainfield, IN facility. The Day shift runs 7:00am–3:00pm with overtime expected, and a 90-day evaluation period supports training and successful integration into the team.

The role involves operating cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker for case and pallet picking, stowing products, cycle counts, and strict safety adherence (safety shoes required).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of order picker experience is required.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet is required.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker.
• Case and full pallet pick; other duties on/off forklift as assigned.
• Stow product and perform cycle counts to maintain inventory.
