Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Startup & Warranty Project Manager for High Power Solutions. You will oversee commissioning, planning, and warranty execution for MV drives projects from delivery through warranty, coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in related fields, strong MV drives knowledge, and 20-30% travel. Hybrid work options in Houston or New Berlin are available.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in related areas (Field Service/PM).
• MV drives experience and strong technical MV knowledge.
• Customer facing and strong communication skills.
• Willing to travel 20-30% and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee startup, commissioning, and warranty execution for HV/MV drive packages.
• Forecast, plan, coordinate, staff and execute site activities per contract.
• Lead internal and third-party field service teams and manage customer expectations.
• Engage with customers, suppliers, and ABB teams to ensure on-time delivery.
