Job summary

ESP is seeking a Development Officer at its North Carolina location in High Point to build relationships, grow donor engagement, and lead leadership annual gifts from $2,500 to $25,000. You will collaborate with the Development team and report to the Executive Director, helping ESP expand its presence in the Piedmont Triad and beyond.

The role focuses on fundraising strategy, portfolio management, and special events, with a mix of in-person donor engagement and community outreach to strengthen

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of fundraising, sales, or business development experience.
• CRM experience is a plus.
• Google Suite/Workspace experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute fundraising strategies to meet goals and guide other development staff.
• Manage a portfolio of 175–200 donors, with ~18 meetings per month.
• Create proposals to secure leadership annual gifts and grants.
• Lead donor visits, events, and grant-related efforts in the High Point area.
• Maintain CRM records and coordinate donor recognition and reporting.
