Responsibilities include managing all areas of the sales department, leveraging internet and retail tools, forecasting sales and expenses, and training staff while ensuring compliance with dealership

Responsibilities

• Ability to manage all areas of the sales department, including wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing.
• Experience with internet and retail tools, ex: V-auto, E-car list.
• Forecast goals and objectives for vehicle sales, gross and expenses monthly/annually.
• Possess strong closing abilities and ability to work with lenders.
• Understand federal, state, local regulations and ensure compliance.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure high delivery standards for vehicles to customers.
• Ensure sales representatives follow dealership policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers, subordinates and management.
• Train and lead the sales staff and be a strong, effective leader.
