Eddie Merlot’s Prime Steak and Seafood in Indianapolis is seeking a Host to welcome guests at the front desk and coordinate seating with a focus on exceptional hospitality. You’ll greet guests in person or by phone, manage reservations, and work with Valets, Servers, and Managers to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The role requires a polished appearance, reliable schedule, and the ability to handle high‑volume dining during evenings and weekends in a fine dining setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Professional attire and appearance in keeping with Eddie Merlot’s standards.
• Must be self‑motivated and able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage front desk to ensure smooth seating and reservations.
• Coordinate with Managers to anticipate guest flow during peak times.
• Assist with ensuring cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby.
• Answer the phone professionally and document reservations.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and re‑set tables as needed.
• Support team members and follow all policies and safety procedures.
