Job summary

Eddie Merlot's is seeking a server to deliver exceptional hospitality and guide guests through menu and beverage options. The role requires presenting menus, taking orders, and ensuring accurate checks and payments while maintaining a clean, orderly station and collaborating with team members.

The position requires experience in a restaurant setting, strong English communication, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. A state liquor license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Two or more year’s experience as a Server, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Must have a state license to serve alcohol and understand state/local liquor regulations.
• Must have self motivated and able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Complete and pass required training modules - both initial and ongoing.
• Know your work schedule for the week, arrive at work on time, and meet standards for uniform and professional appearance.
• Know and understand menu and beverage options, follow guidelines for sequence and service and provide outstanding hospitality.
• Greet guests, take beverage orders, present menus, and guide guests through ordering and up-selling.
• Serve orders, ensure accuracy, check back for guest satisfaction, and handle payments and tips.
