Job summary

PruittHealth @ Home in Griffin, GA is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

You will develop and implement the plan of care, coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team, maintain licenses and documentation, meet productivity standards, and support patient and family education. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity with competitive pay and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unrestricted professional license in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years'' therapy experience.
• Foreign-trained candidates must have credentials deemed equivalent by a credential evaluation organization approved by the APTA.
• Prior Home Health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of the plan of care within goals defined by the physician, patient/family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and attending physician to manage the patient care plan.
• Demonstrate competency in home care skills and patient function assessment.
• Meet agency productivity standards and use time/resources efficiently.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation at the point of care.
• Maintain current license, certification, and clinical records per regulations and guidelines.
